Ontopack.org: Technology for knowledge packaging with applications in knowledge management and e-learning

Ontopack is an idea developed by Dr. Kavi Mahesh, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore 560085 India. This domain was registered on 9th December, 2009.

The idea of ontopack, or an ontologically structured encyclopedia is an integrated and richly interconnected representation of an ontological classification of concepts and texts (and text meanings) in a domain of interest. It can also be called an ontopedia (although this is different from the topic-map notion of the term used in ontopedia.net)

This idea has been under development in the research work of Dr. Kavi Mahesh since early 2008. Applications in the areas of KM, e-learning and e-teaching and preservation of classical texts of India are being investigated.
